Joyce N'Sana - Télama

Joyce N’Sana (Révélation Radio-Canada 2021-2022) is launching her first album, Télama, an exquisite blend of blues, rock, hip-hop and Afro-pop that combines traditional and contemporary rhythms

This family project, masterfully produced by Noel Mpiaza, uplifts the Kikongo language more than any other of the songwriter’s musical compositions. After being apart for ten years, her reunion with her father, with whom she sang as a little girl, inspired the album’s creation.

Inspired by such greats as Miriam Makeba, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill and Angélique Kidjo, Joyce N’Sana offers us an outstanding album with a distinctive pop style that will delight world music fans, while her profoundly soulful voice is destined to appeal to music lovers the world over.
