SEKOUBA BOLOMBA

SEKOUBA BOLOMBA is an Ivorian musician with a ’70s Jamaican roots reggae style who is sure to follow in Alpha Blondy’s footsteps. He combines an eclectic mix of traditional West African rhythms called Bolomba, using djembe drums and balafons. His music is inspired by the fusion of modern music and the ancestral dialogue passed down to him as a descendant of a long line of griots. Each of Sekouba’s concerts offers audiences a universal experience, supported by powerful lyrics in four languages: French, English, Malinke and Bambara. What’s certain is that the music of the man named “Best Reggae Artist of the Diaspora” at the 2019 Reggae Music Awards resonates!
