SAMBA CANJERÊ

Samba is a genuine cultural phenomenon with very deep roots, so popular that it is still prized in Brazil and gets people dancing the world over. One of its oldest forms, Samba de Roda, emerged from the Yoruba’s orisha beliefs and the ancestral traditions of the Kingdom of Kongo, which included present-day Angola.  Since 2019, Samba Canjerê, an ensemble full of authenticity and warmth with a repertoire composed of traditional songs, classics and original music, has been showcasing this Afro-Brazilian heritage, a rhythmical treasure and epitome of joie de vivre, in which percussion reigns supreme.

CABARET ACOUSTIQUE NUITS D’AFRIQUE – at the Club Balattou

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
