It is becoming a tradition! After Mungo’s Hifi in 2019, Iration Steppas in 2022, Lek Sen and Jah Observer in 2023, World Wild Soundsystem have invited a pair of dynamic women from the Berlin-based sound system collective Roots Daughters to take center stage at this 12kW-plus session, promising some mighty uplifting vibes.

Heavily inspired by Rastafari and Jamaican sound system culture, the guest duo established Roots Daughters in 2009. Their sessions create a vibrant space for sharing music and fostering reflection, connection and mutual empowerment. Julie and Jahminta are passionate vinyl collectors and activists eager to exhilarate their audience with reggae’s beauty and versatility – from its beginnings to the latest releases.

You’d be hard pressed to find anyone more dedicated and passionate than the WWSS crew! For the past fifteen years, they’ve been fine-tuning their sound system in the purest Jamaican tradition. Their homemade speakers, analog gear, sirens and other
