REGGAE UPRISING BAND

The Reggae Uprising Band is renowned for the friendly, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere they create at each of their performances. The group consists of passionate musicians brought together by shared ideals. They met in local bars and community venues, then decided to come together and form a band. Drawing from over a century of world music, reggae, soul, R&B, jazz, folk, country, and rock, the band offers audiences a blend of musical standards that appeals to all ages. The Uprising Band has also collaborated with musical artists such as Luciano, Marcia Griffiths, Tinga Stewart, Ras Lee, Leroy Sibbles, Errol Dunkley, Leroy Gibbons, General Trees, and Horace Martin.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
