MENFI BB NZUIMANTO & BEYOND A CREW

Menfi, who was introduced to music as a child, chose to perfect his art before going professional. With the meeting of Charles William Mpondo in 2014, the group Beyond a Crew was born, collaborating with Menfi both creatively and on stage. His debut album, ‘Le Discours de l’ me’, is the result of this collaboration, offering a fusion of rhythms inspired by Bend skin, Makossa, reggae, world music, jazz and soul. The themes range from raising awareness to love, emotions, family and living together. Enriched with jazz nuances, his music also draws on a range of African influences such as Ambas-bay, Meuteuh, Nkwa’a and Seben.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
