Menfi has been making music since childhood. Very quickly, the artist decided to professionalise his passion. without putting any pressure on himself, he took the time to work on his artistic direction before taking the plunge.
In 2014, when menfi met charles william mpondo, they formed beyond a crew, a group of musicians who have accompanied the artist both creatively and on stage ever since.

It is through the work that follows that will be born the songs with the different rhythms on which menfi expresses itself within the framework of its first album entitled ”le discours de l’ame”.
The themes revolve around raising awareness, while talking about love, emotions, family, living together and many other interesting subjects. Her musical inspiration includes bend skin, makossa, raggae, world music, jazz and soul.

The music of the artist menfi is almost always enriched by a touch of jazz with influences from ambas-bay (douala/littoral-cameroon), meuteuh, nkwa’a (bangangté/ouest-cameroun), seben(congo-rdc), etc…
