From February 13 to April 25, 2024, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm at the Club Balattou, you can participate to the selection of the 9 bands ‘’Coup de coeur’’ who will be send in semi-finales !

▷ MAGDALA MIZIK | Zouk , Compas, Afrobeats (Haiti)

Magdala is a rising Haitian world music singer whose style is inspired by Gospel, Blues, Dancehall, and R&B. With critically acclaimed singles like “Pa Kite’m” and “Mwen Pare”, she has garnered a large international following. In 2023, she has been nominated for world music by the Gala Dynastie. She’s a rare talent you do not want to miss.

 

▷ SAMBA CANJERÊ | Samba  (Brazil)

Samba Canjerê celebrates Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian culture, blending the rhythms of African batuques into its distinctive sound. Launched in 2019, this musical project is committed to shedding light on and magnifying the roots of samba. Through its enchanting melodies and evocative lyrics, Samba Canjerê invites a captivating exploration of Brazil’s musical heritage. By embodying a vibrant tribute to its origins, the group fosters renewed appreciation for the richness and diversity of Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian culture.

 

Doors open at 8:00pm! Free entrance. Attend three concerts and become a jury for the artists of tomorrow!

Be part of the adventure: attend as many concerts as you want for free and rate your favourite artists each night. You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form, it is important to EVALUATE THE TWO PERFORMANCES of the evening and attend the three performances.
