Lu Jayan is a Venezuelan-born Canadian singer, songwriter, music producer and recording engineer. A member of prestigious organizations such as the Latin Grammys, BMI, and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), among others, Lu Jayan has participated in major festivals such as the Montreal Venezuelan Festival, the Fiesta des Cultures de Saint-Rémi, the Brossard Festival, and most recently the TD Salsa on St. Claire in 2020 and 2022, where his participation was named one of the highlights of this important Latin music event in Canada. 

Between 2020 and 2021, he was nominated 8 times for the Canada Latin Awards in the important categories of Producer/Arranger of the Year, Tropical Song of the Year and Composer of the Year, among others. His music has been featured on projects such as GDP-Lab in France and Ambassade du Bonheur in Canada, and he also showcases his work on local radio stations in Quebec and Venezuela as a composer and presenter of various programs and commercials. 

In 2021, he released his single: “Solo quiero”, which currently has almost 200,000 . downloads on Spotify and other major platforms. In 2023, the launch of his single “Lo Malo” with Chacón (another Canadian artist) begins to gain excellent appreciation in various Latin American countries, Canada, the United States and Europe.
