Winners of the 2024 Syli d’or de la musique du monde (17th edition!), Less Toches “goes straight to the chase, delivering a rootsy style of cumbia as infectious as it comes” (PanM 360, 2024). The five friends from diverse Latin American backgrounds that form this Montreal-based group explore cumbia in all its forms: sabanera, regjada, villera, Mexican… each piece is played with gusto by the experienced percussionists, meticulous accordionist, exuberant bassist and a singer with a full-on stage presence.

CABARET ACOUSTIQUE NUITS D’AFRIQUE – at the Club Balattou

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
