LERIE SANKOFA

Lerie Sankofa will offer her very first concert in Montreal at Club Balattou on February 6, 2025. Lerie is an Ivorian musician whose musical journey began at the age of 9. Introduced to percussion, she embarked on a musical journey that led her to master this art and singing. She later refined her skills in singing and percussion at the National Institute of Arts and Cultural Action (INSAAC). She shone at the IXth Francophonie Games, winning the bronze medal in the song category, delivering a memorable performance that captivated both the audience and the judges. Her first album is about to be released, and her African cultural center for promoting art & culture, Sankofart Sum, reflects her commitment to transmitting her knowledge and supporting the Ivorian artistic scene.
