Lëk Sèn grew up in Ngor, a fishing village near Dakar, Senegal. He is the embodiment of a new musical generation. His influences of Reggae, Afrobeat and African Blues, offer a very original and innovative massive style. Musically, Lëk Sèn is inspired by Burning Spear, Groundation and the legendary Joseph Hill.

Finalist of the RFI discoveries, supported by France Inter since his first albums and nominated on multiple occasions by Ragge.Fr, Reggaeville (DE), Irie Mag (USA), Lëk Sèn has already produced 7 albums and 5 EPs on which we find featurings with Cedric Myton – Clinton Fearon – Kiddus I – Blitz The Ambassador and Harrisson Stafford (Groundation), but also Boubacar Dembélé (Amadou et Mariam) – Jeff Kellner – Mehdi Haddad.

Lëk Sèn is one of the most beautiful voices of the reggae and world scenes. His powerful, husky and virile voice reminds us of the depths of the desert while his style reminds us of this “conscious African generation” that dreams of freedom!
