From February 13 to April 25, 2024, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm at the Club Balattou, you can participate to the selection of the 9 bands ‘’Coup de coeur’’ who will be send in semi-finales !

▷ JULLY FREITAS – BIENVENUE À BAHIA| Samba-Reggae (Brazil)

Originally from Bahia in Brazil, Jully Freitas has settled in Quebec, in Montreal, since 2012, in her career, she has participated in numerous events in Brazil. Since she has been in Montreal, her project has grown with the support of excellent musicians. In her original compositions, we discover the different rhythms of Brazil that fascinate her. A warm voice, dancing rhythms, impossible to get bored!

▷ MAHÉ | Pop (Reunion Island)

Emerging artist Mahé immerses herself passionately in the world of poetry and writing. Her inspiration comes from nature, and she cultivates a deep appreciation for the beauty of words to weave captivating narratives. Her stage presence is an invitation to vibrate to the enchanting sound of her guitar and her auto-harp, where she skillfully fusesher delicate poetry with a varied palette of musical styles. Mahé has shone at various musical events, taking part in the Tremplin de Dégelis in 2023 and wowing audiences at the 7th edition of Talent d’Afrique in 2022. In recognition of the exceptional quality and creativity of her lyrics, she won a special mention in the Prix Mouffe competition in 2023.

Be part of the adventure: attend as many concerts as you want for free and rate your favourite artists each night. You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form, it is important to EVALUATE THE TWO PERFORMANCES of the evening and attend the three performances.
