Johaedi, a fusion of the names Johanna and “Eding” (meaning love in Ewondo), is an artist of diverse roots, born in Yaoundé and raised between Brazzaville and Montreal. She began writing at the age of 6, exploring themes of love and identity in both English and French. Her musical universe, a harmonious blend of jazz, R&B and Afrobeat, recalls the sounds of Erykah Badu, Jorja Smith and Richard Bona.
