The strong, rough voice of singer-songwriter and keyboardist Guy MAPOKO sets the tone. It isn’t for nothing that singer Éric Lapointe chose him to be in his team at the 5th edition of La Voix, a few years ago. Duo rockAfrika’s music is as staunchly rock as it is African, its rhythm paced by Moïse Yawo’s drumming and mostly sung in Benin’s Mina and Fon languages.
