BUMARANGA

Bumaranga is a group of seven musicians offering up a typically Colombian mix of percussion and flutes with a modern touch courtesy of the drums the electric instruments. The result is a fusion of sounds true to the roots and essence of Afro-Colombian music. The influence of African and indigenous music is pronounced; the rhythms penetrating and driving. From here flows a music rich with the authentic sounds of traditional drums, which invite audiences to dance and come together in a festive atmosphere. With rhythms such as the Cumbia, Puya, Tambora and Mapalé, each performance by Bumaranga is an open invitation to discover and enjoy the traditional musical flavours of Colombia blended with new sounds. they have just launched its second production titled ‘’Fiesta en el Barrio’’
