BANC D’PARC x RUSDELL PAVEL NUNEZ CARMENATE

Welcome to the 16th edition of Syli d’Or de la musique du monde!

From February 14 to April 12, 2023, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm at the Club Balattou, you can participate to the selection of the 9 bands ‘’Coup de coeur’’ who will be send in semi-finales !

▷ BANC D’PARC | Francophone song (Quebec)

Inspired by artists like Fred Fortin or Patrick Watson, Banc d’Parc is Maxime Brown’s solo indie rock project. Singer-songwriter, mainly on vocals and guitar, his pen travels for several projects like Lapelúda and Zach Boileau. 

His colorful universe leaves room for several social issues such as mental health, grief, substance abuse or alcohol problems by normalizing these subjects in a form of appeasement. 

Banc d’Parc will release its first album in March 2023.

▷ RUSDELL PAVEL NUNEZ CARMENATE | Timba, Salsa, Batchata (Cuba, Colombia)

Composer, singer and performer, Rusdell Pavel Nunez Carmenate is a Cuban artist with more than 20 years of experience in Caribbean and Latin American music (Timba, Salsa, Batchata, Merengue, Afro-Cuban Rhythm, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba-Cubana, Reggeaton, Bolero). 

The artist, originally from the province of Holguin, has performed at the Salon international de la femme de Québec, at the MondoKarnaval festival presented at Cartier-Brébeuf Park and at the Festival du Rythme du monde in Chicoutimi. Accompanied by his group Su Sabor Concentra’O, his performances are always very lively and the contagious energy that comes out of them makes the crowd dance and travel.

Doors open at 8:00pm! Free entrance. Attend three concerts and become a jury for the artists of tomorrow!

Be part of the adventure: attend as many concerts as you want for free and rate your favourite artists each night. You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form, it is important to EVALUATE THE TWO PERFORMANCES of the evening and attend the three performances.
