AzemCa has been singing for as long as she can remember. Music has been her refuge through the various trials of her life. She would even say that music saved her life. Having experienced a great deal of restraint during her childhood, she discovered through the power of her voice that she could feel free and touch others with the same breath. She sang publicly for the first time at the end of high school and a few times at CEGEP, but it was during a benefit show in 2007 at the Corona theater that she got the bug for the big stage, and her desire to express herself and perform only grew.

In 2012, she took to the stage at Magog’s Vieux Clocher. For the first time, she performed her own compositions. Realizing that her passion for the stage and songwriting was here to stay, and that her desire to express her emotions through her voice was the ultimate way to express herself, she decided to go for it. It was in 2016 that she decided to get more involved and take her talent more and more seriously. 2016 marked the dawn of her 30th anniversary as an adopted person. This 30th birthday gave her the feeling that she had the right to express herself because she was a “real adult”. She produced 8 singles at Studio Sonaris. In June of the same year, she performed at Cabaret Intime at Salle Claude Léveillée.Since then, she has been producing one to three singles a year and performing on various stages. 

Several collaborations have led to the micro-albums project. 

With each collaboration, AzemCa continues to refine her art. Every day, she learns a little more about what she wants and how best to share the music in her head. Her soulful voice and authentic lyrics will charm you from the very first listen.
