An iconic ambassador for Africa for over 40 years and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 2002, her generous spirit has helped to “create cultural bridges, so people can unite, talk and love one another,” (Métro, 2018). Featuring Zinli and other West-African rhythms, enriched by an array of musical influences (R&B, funk, jazz), Kidjo is renowned for her powerful voice, striking stage presence and prestigious collaborations, not to mention her vast musical output!
