Yamoussa is a multidisciplinary artist who began his circus training with the Guinean troupe Circus Baobab. His professional career got started with an African and European tour of the show La légende du singe tambourinaire.
Discovered in Spain during a tour by the Cirque Eloïse, he was hired by the Montréal-based troupe as an acrobat and took part in the creation and the world tour of the show Nomade from 2002 to 2007.
In 2010, he joined equestrian show producer Cavalia and became part of the show Odysséo, touring with it until 2012 before devoting himself to the projects of his own company, Les Productions Kalabanté.
Yamoussa has a solid background in traditional African dance after training with the Saamato troupe and working with Les Ballets Africains.
