If you’re a Montrealer who loves to go out clubbing, you’ve probably come across Mr. Touré! Like the acclaimed French DJ, David Guetta, this champion of the DJ world, who also goes by the name of Sagewondah, deftly creates mixes of well-packed house music, freely integrating Afro, dancehall, soca, as well as music from Indigenous artists. A brilliant creator of highly original mixes, he’s always in demand because people can never get enough of a good thing!

The gifted DJ has been in the business of spinning music and creating irresistible sets for over twenty years. Star host and resident DJ of the famous uplifting “Qualité de Luxe” parties, the decks are his creative playground. Within the same circle as DJ Poirier, Sagewondah has wowed partygoers from Cuba to Japan and throughout the U.S. And in Vancouver, during the 2010 Olympic Games, he was there to ignite the festivities with great music. Not surprising, it takes Olympic-like skill to get to where he is at as he practises his art with equal vim and vigour! And he’s going for gold, like a sprinting MC on Team Rhythm that includes Don Barbarino and Bellavie, no less!
