Born in Ngor, a fishing village in Senegal, Lëk Sèn, whose real name is Mouhamadou Moustapha Sene, is the incarnation of a new musical generation. Author-composer, arranger, guitarist and singer, his reggae, afrobeat and African blues influences offer an original and innovative style. Musically, Lëk Sèn is inspired by Burning Spear, Groundation and the legendary Joseph Hill. Finalist of the RFI discoveries, supported by France Inter since his first albums and nominated on multiple occasions by Ragge.Fr, Reggaeville (DE), Irie Mag (USA), Lëk Sèn has already produced 7 albums and 5 EPs on which we find featurings with Cedric Myton – Clinton Fearon – Kiddus I – Blitz The Ambassador and Harrison Stafford. Lëk Sèn is the Senegalese reggaeman with one of the most beautiful voices of the international reggae and dancehall scenes.
