BIOGRAPHY

Their message is so strong and the reach of their distinctive Vodoo Afrobeat sound so universal that they’ve earned a reputation as a superb ensemble. For a decade, the seven artists have been conjuring uplifting rhythms that will leave you feeling entranced as if spellbound by the sacred forces of Mother Earth. It’s a promise kept by the band’s leader, percussionist Emmanuel Delly, whose fabulous drumming has the power to energize.

Like other great, timeless bands, Afrovibes has stood the test of time and fans never tire of them because the group creates an ambiance that isn’t bound to fleeting trends. Their complex arrangements interweave with the curves of jazz, soul and rock, at times flirting with classics so wrapped up that we’d almost forgotten them… Here’s to soulful Motown, Black culture and its music!

Elevated by a versatile female voice, Afrovibes breathes the islands, singing the praises of all that invigorating air, far from any and all troubles. From Martinique to the Americas, the vibes ripple all the way to the Comoros Islands and its oceanic fragrances. From the Caribbean to here, for your pure listening pleasure!
