Alpha D & The Fiya Bro's - Jeunesse Africaine

Jeunesse Africaine fuses reggae roots with the vibrant sounds of Benin! After collaborating with producers around the world, Egyptian-born French-Quebec songwriter Alpha D has teamed up with The Fiya Bro’s, a group of young musicians from Benin, to release Jeunesse Africaine, the first single from their joint album of the same name, due out in March 2025.

Despite power cuts and obstacles, their determination is unwavering. They recorded 12 powerful tracks at El Guibor Studios in Godomey, Benin, including Jeunesse Africaine, which with its poignant lyrics is a hymn to the continent’s youth, a cry from the heart for an Africa proud of its roots and looking to the future.

Armed with strong, conscious messages, the artist joins forces with 7 talented musicians from Benin to form Alpha D & The Fiya Bro’s, an explosive collective united by a common dream: to conquer the international scene with their committed but festive music.

Carrying high the torch of Tiken Jah Fakoly and Bob Marley, Alpha D & The Fiya Bro’s appeal to African youth, reggae lovers and all those who vibrate to the sound of the French language.
