TATA de Just Wôan

TATA, which means “father” in the Bafia language of Cameroon, is the first single from Just Wôan’s new album. It’s a solo, acoustic and intimate album in which he delivers his most personal melodies and emotions without restraint… If there’s one thing that makes Just Wôan so singular, it’s his extraordinary voice: “All categories considered, Just is one of Quebec’s greatest singers” (Le Devoir, August 5, 2016). Indeed, this self-taught multi-instrumentalist of Cameroonian origin is endowed with an incredible vocal ease of which he alone holds the secret, capable of hitting both high and low notes, while accompanying himself on guitar, which he plays in a rather atypical way thanks to a technique known as “tapping-guitar”.
