Compilation 2024

Disques Nuits d’Afrique has created a compilation of 18 fabulous tracks by outstanding artists from the Festival’s 38th edition to highlight the beautiful diversity of today’s world music scene.

Included are such hits as “Mpiaka”, a finely crafted song by the renowned “Jeune Leader,” Innoss’B; “Fittest”, a quintessential reggae tune by Queen Omega, and “Florilège“, by the eagerly awaited French beatmakers, L’Entourloop, whose videos have garnered millions of views. You will also hear Fredy Massamba‘s highly polished Afrobeat on his most recent single “Buyele”, along with Pahua‘s Latin rhythms, Sofaz‘s Reunion Island groove, and the powerful female voices of the Senegalese duo, Def Mama Def.

The compilation also showcases music produced by Montreal’s amazing talent including “Acclimatisation”, of Jean Jean Roosevelt’s new album Libres Ensemble, and the recent single “Chérie Coco“ by Kizaba, who was voted the 2024 Révélation Radio-Canada – Musique du Monde.

And we mustn’t forget, Joyce N’Sana and her exclusive single “Zola”, to be released globally the same day as the compilation!
