BIOGRAPHY

Elegant in her long, fitted dress, decked out in glittering finery, hair styled à la garçonne, this singer has a little something of Sarah Bernhardt! And her appearance is proof as she transforms into a kind of modern nymph, balanced on the trapeze of her art. No doubt because of her chameleonic relationship to the stage, married to music and performance…

She is 100% “Pearl of the Antilles,” and this polymorphous “Good Girl” is brimming with delightful ideas. She carries on the tradition of great singers with flair. Last October in Kigali, Rwanda, she was crowned Best Caribbean Artist at the Trace Awards & Festival. She is one of Haiti’s most celebrated singers, and her popularity continues to grow in step with her melodies. She is the queen of bling and in the universe of the videos, she’s the star, the fairy presiding over the festivities. Sensuality abounds on the single “Kè m Nan Men w” (KNM), released last year. Never one to shy away from taboos, the singer soaks in the bath of bliss on the kompa hit “Poko Pare” with fellow artist, Gabel. Despite the heartbreaks and betrayals, her spirited vocals strike a chord and chase away any dark clouds. Life may be short but she prolongs its delights with her fine, powerful voice.

Launching herself headfirst towards the Billboard charts, the singer exports her talent with lively love songs like “Lost Without You,” without giving up any of her Haitian identity. The fruit of her talent is bursting with the most delectable juices. To get a taste of her jubilant Creole world, you simply need to listen to “M Pa La Ankò.”
