These eight funky musicians, festive and energetic, are brass and percussion virtuosos. You definitely won’t want to miss seeing them play live. Wow! Not only are they bursting with talent, the Burning BRASs Band’s members are united behind feminist principles and the democratization of contemporary music. Their determination to “crush the narrative” resonates all the way to the tips of their instruments.

This outstanding Montreal brass band, composed exclusively of musicians identifying as women or queer, has been blasting their good vibes since 2022. What motivates them? To make great music while promoting the diversity movement aimed at creating a harmonious world in which each individual, without exception, has a place. A powerful ethos that is reflected in their lively arrangements and their way of lifting up popular songs with a fiery brass section dominated by sax, trumpet and trombone sustained by a jazzy drum beat. Inspired by a band from across the pond, the formation of this Burning BRASs Band’s  showcases the full extent of their talent. Blasting out music is as natural as breathing or running along the path of life: that’s the message from this exceptional band, in perfect sync with today’s world. Super inspiring and energizing!
