Whether in French, English or Creole, music is his way of shouting his outrage against social inequalities, especially racism, raising consciousness and showcasing the beauty of black culture. The singer-songwriter, who earned the Conseil des Arts de Montréal’s Audience Award at the 15th edition of the Syli d’or in 2022, uses his soulful voice to serve his cause, channelling the intensity of his feelings through blues-rock, neo-soul, hip-hop and Afrobeat, occasionally interspersed with compas elements.
