Together with our partners, Productions Nuits d’Afrique is proud to offer prestigious prizes to the Syli d’Or de la musique du monde finalists. Below is the list of prizes that will be awarded at the 17th edition (2024), worth a total of $75,000.

FOR THE 3 FINALISTS

• Prize Disques Nuits d’Afrique : production of the Syli d’Or compilation – 17th edition
• Prize Believe : International digital distribution of the 17th Syli d’Or compilation
• Prize AuxSons : 3 playlists and promotion on Zone Franche professional networks (Europe)
• Prize Groover : Accès aux réseaux internationaux des professionnels de l’industrie musicale
• Prize Livetoune : Access to international networks of music industry professionals
• Prize MoonSun Musik : 20 hours of studio recording (Syli d’Argent)
• Prize AZ Music : 20 hours of studio recording (Syli de Bronze)
• Prize Guitares Godin : Set of prestigious guitars
• Prize Mundial Montréal : Professional accreditation and support to attend the Mundial Montréal showcase
• Prize Musitechnic : 9 hours of training per winner (3 hours of theory and 6 hours of practice)
• Prize Long & McQuade : Gift card for musical instruments and equipment
• Prize SPACQ : 1-year membership to the Société professionnelle des auteurs et compositeurs du Québec
• Prize Musicopratik :  10 hours of studio rehearsal for each of the three winners

• Prize Studio Banjaxed Records:  24h studio hours, over 3 days (recording, production, mastering)
• Prize Culture des Arts –  Institut Christelle Onomo:  10 hours of coaching in strategic planning for artist management

PRIZE AFROPOP-SYLI D’OR

One artist, chosen from among the 9 semi-finalists, will be awarded a portrait interview, which will be broadcast on Afropop
Worldwide, a radio program distributed by Public Radio International (PRI) to 115 stations in the United States, Europe and Africa!

PRIX CHOQ-SYLI D’OR

One artist selected from the 9 semi-finalists will receive a week’s radio advertising, an interview and a live performance, as well as promotion on the social networks of CHOQ.ca, one of Canada’s leading university web radio stations.
