CHACÓN
Javi Chacón, or simply nicknamed Chacón, is a songwriter, performer and music producer originally from Cienfuegos, Cuba and currently based in Montreal.
By his multi-talented creative as a pianist, musical producer and composer of Cuban music and through his unheard-of and self-taught approach to immersing himself in today’s current trends, Chacón’s new solo project combines a Latin Pop style with a twist. by Urban / Soul / RnB / Tropical, becoming a colorful soundtrack that transports us to a pink sunset of Miami or L.A.
Coming from a family of musicians, his main instrument is the piano, which he began to play at the age of seven. During his journey in Cuba, he accompanied several of the great orchestras of Havana such as Pachito Alonso, Manolín El Médico de la Salsa, among others.
Currently based in Montreal, he shared the stage with various groups and artists which led him to perform on the stages of the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Festival des Rythmes du Monde in Chicoutimi, the Cuban Festival of St-Sauveur, Montreal. en Lumières, accompanying various artists from the Montreal Jazz, Latinx and Pop scene such as Adan De Dios, The Yordan Martinez Cuban Show, Dominic Hudson, Alex Bellegarde; Ramón Chicharrón, Wesli, Nino and the Electric Soul.
