Gorée Island, from West Indies rythms to Senegal
Gorée Island in Senegal, the land where lives the memory of the slave trade towards America. Oumar N’Diaye Xousluman is part of this new generation of committed Senegalese musicians, with an innovative speech which relates with great accuracy the emotions lived by his people. His style of music, the African Feeling Sound, serere and wolof rhythms mixed with Fouta melodies.
For this special event, he will invite Madin’Free-K from Martinique.
