Description of the concert:

The composer of the spellbinding sound track for the Quebec film “Un cargo pour l’Afrique” (2009) by Roger Cantin (he was seduced by its African “road movie” style), Oumar Ndiaye Xosluman mixes Serer and Wolof beats with melodies from the Fouta region of northern Senegal. His acoustic music links inspired guitar chords, subtle kora notes, astonishing Peul flute and avid xalam. He will present his new album Tukki.
