Description of the concert:
K’koustic’s son trasé is a sparkling blend of traditional Guadeloupean beats. They offer a tribute to the greats of ka, a “tanbou” typical of goatskin which, in its boula form (a low drum marking basic Gwoka beats) and in its maké form (with a sharper timbre), is the catalyst of these fiery improvisations that give the Caribbean its musical reputation.
