Biography of the artist:
Born in 1979 in Khouribga, a mining town in southern Morocco, Hindi Zahra arrived in Paris in 1993 to join her father. Coming from a Berber family, she grew up to the sound of Egyptian divas and the big voices of raï and châabi, as well as Moroccan rock and roll, traditional melodies, and Sahelian blues.
