Description of the concert:

Always adorned in a headscarf with Ivoirian patterns, his distinctive sign, Gotta Lago moves around Montreal’s cultural scene. An outstanding multidisciplinary artist, guitarist, pianist, percussionist and singer as well as being a talented actor and storyteller, he is involved in just about every project! A vital presence on the local world music scene, he is always sharing his talents. For six nights in a row, with his guests, he will be setting the Balattou alight. 

Diva du monde, with Lætitia Zonzambé
Lætitia Zonzambé has “gospel in her voice,” as she says so well in song. A warm, colourful voice with accents of tradition but also curiosity and diversity. With Gotta, she will pay tribute to the divas of world music, caring for their roots.
