Veeby reflects various diasporas, both in life and in music. Her music combines influences from her African roots with the vibrant rhythms of soul and urban music. In all languages, she sings of love, peace and respect. Committed and active in life, she does not hesitate to point out injustices and discriminations in her songs.

Having left her native Cameroon at the age of 17 to pursue her studies in Quebec, and moved to Montreal in 2001, she did not abandon her passion for music. She joined the Montreal urban scene and made enriching collaborations. Ten years later, she released her first album “The Journey”. A true musical journey within a varied universe, rhythms and plural subjects. Her recent album, Sandj, is a tribute to emancipation in all its forms, a hymn to freedom.

Veeby makes you sail on sounds with different accents, in all languages, but always with charm and emotion.
