Biography :

Servantes took his first music lessons at the age of six years and fell in love with the guitar. His passion did not die with time as he deepened his knowledge of classical guitar. Subsequently, Servantes met Patrick Roux, who becomes his teacher at the Conservatoire de Musique du Québec à Hull. Then Servantes discovered rock'n'roll and blues, he began playing for bands, while studying the traditional full-time. Servanets then flew to Peru with saxophonist Yves Lacoursière to study Andean and Latin rhythms music. Upon his return he composed for the project SERVANTES combining jazz music and Latin rhythms with a touch of flamenco, classical and bluegrass (a form of country music) ... In 2007, Servantes launches his first video album on DVD. He is currently working on an album of jazz arrangements inspired by flamenco standards.
