Biography :

Maroc'N'Reel group is composed of six musicians with different backgrounds, they revisit traditional Moroccan music. This musical mix encourages dancing and festivities. The author, composer and performer of the group, Hassan El Hadi is a talented player of Oud (lute). He grew up in Morocco and draws his inspiration from the Arab-Berber sounds with which he grew up. He also excels on the banjo, hajouj and percussion. Hassan recorded his first album in 2003. Sabah Lachgar is a talented singer from Morocco. Inspired by country music, soul, blues and flamenco, she sings in several languages and has lent her voice to the film and television. Mario Giroux is a cellist who has collaborated with such conductors as Charles Dutoit, and Franz Paul Decker. He plays and is currently working for the Quebec group "Les Tiruex de roches". With Pascal Per Veillette on the harmonica, Martin Arias and Phydras Haddad on guitar and percussion, Maroc'N'Reel forms a musical mix of the most exhilarating!
