Kassav' -Saga

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, this mythical group is offering audiences a triple album, “Saga”, with 53 song titles, including four released for the first time. This is an opportunity to find legendary numbers such as “Zouk la se sel medikaman nou ni”, “Siyé Bwa” or “Kolé Séré”.
The history of Kassav’ began in 1979 when a handful of West Indian musicians decided to revamp and modernize the popular music of Martinique. The result was zouk, a lively, danceable musical form with a festive beat based on rock, funk and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Four million albums later, Kassav’ continues to delight crowds around the world, from the West Indies to Africa and across Europe and the American continent. For the last 30 years, with 14 studio discs and 30 live or “best of” albums, the five members of Kassav’ are true ambassadors of Caribbean music around the world.
